(Centre for Communication Skills)
What motivated you to join the programme?
When I chanced upon the SAm programme, I saw it as a platform of outreach and service to the SIT community. It was a golden opportunity to step beyond the sphere of academics, into a zone of potential - the potential to grow as an individual and the potential to engage stakeholders on a scale, unique to the programme.
What was your most significant moment as a SITizen Ambassador?
It was the very first event for which I played the role of an emcee-host, at the Investiture of my SAm cohort. That event, not only marked the commissioning of the pioneer batch of SAms, but also the start of an exciting journey of challenge and growth, alongside fellow SAms who were equally passionate in their service.
What does being a SITizen Ambassador mean to you even beyond your time in SIT as a student?
It would mean being a voice for the SIT community, which comprises of current, past and prospective students and industry partners, to encourage and advocate.
