Profile
Biography
Dr Ang is currently an Associate Professor in Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He obtained his BEng (Hons) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from University of Strathclyde, MSc in Management of Technology from National University of Singapore and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Glasgow. Prior to his current appointment, he led the program office in technology & new product development in Seatrium, which focuses on the development of offshore renewables, new energy, maritime decarbonisation and digitalisation. He is also the current President of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore (SNAMES) and a member of Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA) UK.
