Liang Boon Wee
Profile
Biography
Liang-Boon is Associate Professor at the Engineering Cluster at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). His research interest includes computer vision, machine learning, guidance, navigation and control. He started his career at DSO National Laboratories as a research engineer in 1987. He has held various leadership positions in DSO, from 2006 to 2007 he was Head of the Advanced Systems laboratories, from 2007 to 2010 he was Programme Director in Guided Systems, and from 2010 to 2019 he holds the position of Chief Engineer. Liang-Boon has worked on the development of systems that requires expertise in diverse technical areas. His technical expertise in systems development include unmanned aerial systems, and robotic manipulator systems. From 2019 he is with Singapore Institute of Technology.
