Oran Zane Devilly

Biography
Dr. Oran Zane Devilly is the research lead for CoLEAD (Centre for Learning Environment and Assessment Development) and faculty for ICT at the Singapore Institute of Technology. He generally teaches subjects related to software design and development and game design and development. Prior to joining SIT, he oversaw the BSc Game Design and Development and was the director of Learning Teaching and Student Experience at the University of Worcester in the UK where he was made a fellow of the University and a fellow of the higher education academy in the UK. Oran holds a PhD in Computer Science related to Adaptive Artificial Intelligence from the University of Warwick (UK). Since joining SIT he has been involved in a number of successful research grant proposals, which are aligned with his research interests in gamification, game based learning, educational technology and education, scholarship of teaching and learning and artificial intelligence.
