- Co-supervised 4 students from the Curtin University Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) program for their research project. This project won the Mona Twomey Prize for the best postgraduate research project.
- Spearheaded the “Outpatient in Inpatient” clinics – an initiative targeted to reduce the waiting time for outpatient physiotherapy services, and to provide a better continuum of care to patients post orthopaedic surgery.
- Developed a knee arthroplasty (physiotherapy) patient registry in Singapore General Hospital. Multiple manuscripts published, which involved merging of data with 2 other sources. Findings from projects were translated into practice.–
- Spearheaded the Sunday Orthopaedic Inpatient Physiotherapy service initiative – this service reduced the length of stay of patients post knee arthroplasty by ~1 day.

This was a piggyback study of a multicentre randomized controlled trial examining the effects of a multifactorial, community-based, falls prevention program that targets elderly Singaporeans at high-risk of falls by DUKE-NUS.
