Biography
I serve as a faculty member at SIT University, specializing in the Digital Communications and Interactive Media (DCIM) program. Concurrently, I am pursuing my Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), with a focus on Sustainable Digital Transformation. I expect to complete my doctoral studies in 2025.
Before my academic stint at SIT, I amassed over two decades of professional experience in digital marketing and business transformation at global corporations and network agencies including Microsoft, Citibank and Ogilvy. This industry background guides my teaching approach, enabling me to bridge the gap between theories and practical, real-world applications.
My current research is particularly centered on the intersection of digital transformation and sustainability. I am keenly interested in how small businesses can leverage digital technologies—specifically, artificial intelligence (AI)—to achieve sustainability goals. This research is part of a larger initiative to understand the socio-economic impacts of sustainable practices enabled by digital technologies.
Apart from my academic and professional engagements, I am an active community service contributor. I serve on the Executive Committees of the Interaction Design Foundation, Singapore Heart Foundation, and Singapore Cancer Society, focusing on their marketing and communication strategies.
