In today’s evolving educational landscape, coaching has become an essential tool to empower educators and people developers, fostering personal and professional growth in individuals through evidence-based practices and transformative strategies.

Over the past decade, coaching has gained significant traction in education and non-profit sectors, proving effective in fostering the development of key competencies and enhancing learning outcomes. By integrating coaching into curricula and pedagogy, educators can guide individuals toward holistic growth, fostering adaptability, resilience, and lifelong learning.

Coaching drives meaningful transformation by utilising techniques such as deep listening, strategic questioning, and goal setting. By equipping educators with these powerful tools, coaching fosters the growth of participants who are not only knowledgeable but also adaptable and resilient in an ever-changing world.

This programme is designed for educators and people developers looking to enhance their coaching and mentoring skills across multiple domains. It focuses on developing 21st-century competencies, fostering technical expertise, lifelong learning habits and promoting well-being. By integrating evidence-based practices from the science of learning and positive psychology, participants will gain the necessary skills to support self-regulation, deep learning strategies, and resilience.

The programme consists of four focused modules that teach participants how to conduct impactful coaching conversations, assess competencies, and promote mental health. Upon completion of the program, participants will have developed coaching competencies that enable them to engage others with empathy, confidence, and the ability to support both personal and professional growth.

For those seeking to be recognised as certified practitioners in the Academy registry, there are key competencies that must be demonstrated across four modules.

  • Module A: Demonstrate the ability to apply solution-focused coaching techniques to support learner development and drive growth.
  • Module B: Integrate evidence-based coaching practices in education and professional development to foster lifelong learning and continuous growth.
  • Module C: Analyse, assess, and coach technical competencies by breaking them down into measurable components, and offering targeted feedback to enhance skill mastery.
  • Module D: Implement positive psychology coaching strategies to promote resilience, mental health, and holistic well-being for learners.

Upon completing the full 4-part programme and successfully demonstrating the required competencies through assignments, participants will be certified as Coaching for Competencies (C4C practitioners).
