Course Overview
In simple terms, Machine learning (ML) is the fusion of computer science and statistics in computer algorithms, and has become a key asset in today's technology.
From shopper recommender systems to self-driving cars, ML has enabled intelligent solutions that go beyond the capabilities of traditional technological implementations.
By the end of the course, you'll have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of ML, as well as the ability to differentiate between common types of ML, such as supervised and unsupervised learning. You will also learn how ML is utilised in various applications, including face detection and algorithmic trading.
Additionally, the course will provide you with hands-on experience using an online ML learning environment to solve some interesting problems.
