Effective from AY2025/26 Trimester 2 (January 2026), the Postgraduate Certificate in Building Services Engineering will be transiting to Graduate Certificate in Building Services Engineering. For more details, please refer to the full notice here.

This module provides students with construction management services knowledge. The use of lean concept, aided by integrated digital delivery (IDD), to reduce wastes in the construction process is the primary focus of this module.

IDD includes digital design, digital manufacturing and fabrication, digital construction, and digital asset delivery and management. Students are also exposed to the use of Autodesk Navisworks Timeliner to generate BIM 4D construction planning schedule.

Prerequisites
  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor degree in engineering
  • Candidates must have at least one year of relevant working experience in the built environment or engineering industry

Certificate and Assessment

A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants who:

  • Attend 75% of the course; and
  • Undertake non-credit bearing assessment (during course)

A Certificate of Attainment for each module will be issued to participants who:

  • Attend at least 75% of each respective module; and
  • Participants who pass the Continuous Assessment
