Course Overview
Healthcare has adopted evidence-based practice as the gold standard for the delivery of services and care.
The evolution of this way of working has expanded from simply reviewing the research evidence to encompassing clinical expertise, patient preferences and experience, and the context of healthcare delivery as equal cornerstones.
This has highlighted that there is a disconnect between the research evidence and its implementation in practice. Whilst there is a substantial and ever-expanding volume of research evidence on healthcare and interventions, the uptake of this in clinical practice is problematic. This workshop will provide you with an overview of the key features of implementation science. It will enable you to review evidence for your practice and identify challenges and solutions to the implementation.
