Overview

Sustainable development is an increasingly important agenda in the world and in Singapore. With the push of the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and various industry regulations, we see a rapid increase in demand for sustainable development knowledge and skillsets within the workforce.

The Graduate Certificate in Sustainability (GCert in Sust PP) aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to address industry demands, regulatory changes, and sustainability challenges in the dynamic environment. The programme aims to build a strong foundation for learners currently in or stepping into roles that lead sustainability initiatives, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into the organisation’s strategy, operations, and culture.

The modules can be taken individually or stack towards a (GCert in Sust PP), and are each worth 3 credits. The Graduate Certificate in Sustainability supports the Engineering Chartership in Sustainability by the Institution of Engineers Singapore. SIT, one of two IHLs partnering with the IES Academy, offers the complete suite of modules for chartership candidates.
