Overview
Sustainable development is an increasingly important agenda in the world and in Singapore. With the push of the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and various industry regulations, we see a rapid increase in demand for sustainable development knowledge and skillsets within the workforce.
The Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Principles and Practices (GCert in Sust PP) aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to address industry demands, regulatory changes, and sustainability challenges in the dynamic environment. The programme aims to build a strong foundation for learners currently in or stepping into roles that lead sustainability initiatives, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into the organisation’s strategy, operations, and culture.
The modules can be taken individually or stack towards a GCert in Sust PP, and are each worth 3 credits. The GCert in Sust PP supports the Chartered Engineer (SG) in Sustainability Sector Certification Programme by IES.
Modules Available
Modules are stackable towards a GCert in Sust PP. They can also be taken individually.
Candidates will be awarded a SIT GCert in Sust PP if they pass 6 modules totalling 18 credits. The GCert in Sust PP is also stackable to SIT’s future Master of Science (MSc) programmes.
