Student Developer Award (SDA)
The Student Developer Award (SDA) recognises and celebrates non-academic members of the SIT community who have positively contributed to the learning experiences of our students, which resulted in the development and growth in their journey at the University.
Eligibility & Criteria
The award is open to full-time non-academic staff at SIT who have direct interaction with students in the course of their work.
Nominees must demonstrate direct student development in alignment with the SIT Industry-Ready Skills Framework (IRSF). They should go beyond their core responsibilities to create meaningful and impactful learning experiences that help students acquire and develop skills that are relevant to their discipline and/or prepare them to be industry ready.
This award takes reference from the IRSF (refer to Diagram 1), which outlines the skills, competencies and attributes that SIT graduates need to be industry ready. It recognises non-academic staff who play a direct role in helping students acquire and apply these skills through authentic learning experiences.
