Dr Lim Wee Han
Wee Han employs a wide range of teaching strategies to successfully engage diverse cohorts of undergraduates in both small and large classes as well as online. He uses effective pedagogies in teaching and learning in order to bring the best out of every student.
As one who strongly believes in using relevant technology as an aid in his teaching, Wee Han uses animation, computer games, cartoons and famous physical structures to illustrate and explain physical principles and abstract concepts so as to help students in their understanding and to inspire and motivate them to learn the subjects.
Wee Han is described by students as someone who is well prepared, respectable, puts on no air, and goes the extra mile for the benefit of students. He is summed up in just four words by his students – “Overall, an excellent teacher.”

Dr Koh Sze Kee
Sze Kee is an academic who embodies the attributes of three Cs: a coach, a cheerleader and a creator.
As a coach, he stimulates the learning of students by using a variety of methods. He is an experienced academic. However, he still adjusts his pedagogy through self-reflection. He also modifies his teaching by remaining open-minded towards his students’ feedback.
Sze Kee’s coaching of his students requires a lot of time and a big dose of heart. He provides individual feedback to them on their progress, and he chats with them to give guidance on how to improve their learning.
As a cheerleader, he encourages active student participation by availing a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive. When students face difficulties in grasping theories, he would help them with patience, while ensuring that they benefit through self-discovery and a desire for lifelong learning.
As a creator, Sze Kee conscientiously improves on his teaching materials. He effectively utilises technology to increase the realistic learning experience for students.
Sze Kee’s creative efforts are evident in his setting up of the business simulation lab, his incorporation of stocks trading game in lessons, and his championing of the use of SPARK (i.e. Self and Peer Assessment Resource Kit).

Dr May Lim
May is able to provide a nurturing environment that our SIT students require to develop their fullest potential while at SIT.
She consistently received very good ratings as well as positive feedback for the way she facilitated student’s learning, as well as the way she develops their interests and talents to impact society.
May enables the students to have applied learning experiences through her very strong industry links and community involvement. For example, her voluntary work with the social enterprise “Branding Humanity” to set up a Garden for children and youth with autism provided project opportunities for SIT students taking the Healthcare Development and Delivery Module.
May also spearheaded the design and development of the SIT module, “Change Management”. This cross disciplinary module is now part of the curriculum of 9 SIT degree programmes. This innovative module which involved effective blend of pedagogy including “flipped classroom”, “experiential and reflective learning” received compliments from OECD delegates who visited SIT in 2015.
May is an active SITizen and the personification of the vision and mission of SIT in integrating learning, industry and community when teaching.
