The Applied Materials Bursary
The Applied Materials Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing any one of the selected Engineering Undergraduate Program offered by Singapore Institute of Technology.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Students enrolled in the following full-time undergraduate degree programmes at SIT:

BEng (Hons) Electronics and Data Engineering
-
BEng (Hons) Electrical Power Engineering
-
BEng (Hons) Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering
-
BEng (Hons) Mechatronics System
-
- Singapore Citizens.
- Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to S$750.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:
- Each bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one academic year.
- The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for overseas immersion programmes conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
- Recipients of this Bursary may accept other bursaries, scholarships or awards concurrently.

The Bursary is made possible with a gift by Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd.
Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd is a strategic hub for Applied Materials, consisting of diverse business activities across headquarter functions, manufacturing, R&D and field services in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
