Engagement Sessions

Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an engagement session such as workshop, bootcamps.

January to March 2025

Application Outcome

Outcome will be released within a month from the engagement session.

    What is the timeline for the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)?

    You may submit your application under the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) from mid-November. Eligible applicants will be contacted in January. You should receive the outcome of your application by early February.

    Do I select all 5 choices in my application?

    Yes, you are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of your application by selecting up to five choices. The order of your choices is taken into consideration in our selection process.

    How do I know if I have submitted my application successfully?

    If your admissions application is successful, you will receive an email notification from us. If you have not heard from us by mid-February, please email us at adm@singaporetech.edu.sg.

    Can I submit another application in the main admissions cycle if I am not offered a place in the Early Admissions Exercise?

    You do not need to submit another application. Your application will be re-assessed with the rest of the applications during the main application window if you do not receive an offer from us during EAE.

    Can I appeal if I have yet to be offered a place in the Early Admissions Exercise?

    Successful applicants will hear from us via email in January or February. We will re-assess your application together with the rest of the applications in the main application window, and the outcome will be released from mid-April.

    Can I change my programme choices after submitting an Early Admissions Exercise application?

    During the EAE application window, you cannot change your programme choices upon submitting your application.

    Even so, if you are not successful in your EAE application and wish to change your programme choices during the main application window (Jan-March), you may write to adm@singaporetech.edu.sg to request for a change in programme choices before the closing of the Joint Admissions Exercise.

    Your application for your revised choices will be subject to fresh competition alongside other applicants applying in the main application window. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited for an assessment.

    I received an offer letter from SIT about my Early Admissions Exercise application. Can I request a change in programme?

    Yes, you can submit an appeal during the online appeal period (around end-May) or email us at adm@singaporetech.edu.sg. We will process your request for change in programme, subject to the university’s consideration and the number of vacancies available in the programme of your appeal choice.

    If I receive an offer from SIT, can I still apply to another university during the main application period after the release of polytechnic final semester GPA results?

    Your participation in SIT’s EAE does not exclude you from applying to other universities.
