CapitaLand Ascendas REIT ("CLAR") Bursary

The CapitaLand Ascendas REIT ("CLAR") bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged but deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time Accountancy, Engineering or Infocomm Technology undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Are second, third- or fourth-year students pursuing any of the full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the institute:
    • Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours 
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services)
    • Under the Infocomm Technology cluster offered by the Institute
  • Singapore Citizens.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and character.

  • Have active co-curricular and community involvement.

  • Possess good academic achievements.

  • Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) that satisfies the Institute's criteria for financial assistance through the award of the Bursary.

Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

  • Each bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one (1) Academic Year.

  • The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

  • Recipients who have already been awarded the Bursary for one year may apply to receive and be considered for Bursary in subsequent year.

  • Recipients of this bursary may accept other bursaries concurrently.

  • No bond is required of the recipient.

The Bursary is made possible with a gift from CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management Limited, a subsidiary of Ascendas Pte Ltd, a leading provider of business space solutions in Asia.

    How To Apply

    Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

    Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT. 

    Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
