GT Group x Gabriel Tan Bursary
The GT Group x Gabriel Tan Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing the Hospitality Business degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Full-time students pursuing the following degree programme:
- B Hospitality Business with Honours
- Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
- Have a Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to $1,000.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each bursary is valued at $5,000 and is tenable for one academic year.
- The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
- Recipients of this Bursary may accept another bursary concurrently.
- No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
The Bursary is made possible by a gift from Mr Gabriel Tan Yong Kai, Executive Director of AIA Financial Advisers’ GT Group, which was first started in 1994 as SP-Gabriel Tan in Singapore. The District’s proud heritage of success saw it achieving the Top District in AIA Singapore in 2017, amongst the many accolades it has achieved over the years. As one of the longest serving districts in AIA Singapore, SP-Gabriel Tan was renamed as GT Group and is now an authorised representative of AIA Financial Advisers Private Limited.
How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
