Hj. Abdul Malek Mohamed Shah Study Grant
The Hj. Abdul Malek Mohamed Shah Study Grant was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time Food Technology undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Pursuing a full-time Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute.

Are Singapore Citizens, Malaysian Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (Malaysian).

Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to S$1,200.

Have achieved good academic results.

Preference will be given to students who have community service records or had made significant contributions to the community.
Tenure and Benefits of the Study Grant:

Each Study Grant is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one Academic Year.

The Grant shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

Recipents who have already been awarded the Grant for one year may apply to receive and be considered for the Grant in subsequent year.

Recipients of this Grant may accept other bursary, scholarship, grant or award concurrently.

No bond is required of the recipient.
