SIM People Development Fund (SIMPDF) Study Grant
The SIM People Development Fund (SIMPDF) Study Grant was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Final year graduating students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute;

Singapore Citizens;
-
Have a Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to $2,500; and
-
Preference will be given to applicants with good academic performance and/or who have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community.
Tenure and Benefits of the Study Grant:

Each Grant is valued at $7,500 and is tenable for one academic year.

The Grant shall be disbursed to the Recipient, in two equal instalments, at the start of Trimester 1 (November) and at the end of Trimester 2 (March) in the Final Year of their studies.

The Grant shall be used for the recipient’s living and educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

Recipients of this Grant may accept other bursaries, scholarships or awards concurrently. For Recipients holding other Private Donor scholarship, bursary, award or grant concurrently, the total quantum of both SIMPDF Study Grant and other private donor award must not exceed S$7,500 for that Academic Year.

No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
The Bursary is made possible by a gift from SIM People Development Fund Limited (SIMPDF), which was set up to support Singaporeans in realising their career potential through access to learning pathways and experiences. SIMPDF was incorporated in 2020 with seed funding from the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), as an extension of the latter’s mission to do social good. SIMPDF was granted IPC status in March 2021 in recognition of it as a charity that benefits Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
