CDL Millennium & Copthorne Scholarship
The CDL Millennium & Copthorne Scholarship is open to students pursuing the full-time Hospitality Business undergraduate degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates pursuing the Bachelor of Hospitality Business with Honours degree programme offered by the Institute.
- Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
- Have achieved outstanding academic results.
- Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community.
Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship

Each Scholarship, valued at S$ 7,500, is applicable for one (1) academic year.

The Scholarship shall be used for the Recipients’ educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses relating to approved regional as well as global study trips organised by the Institute.

Recipients who have already been awarded the Scholarship for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Scholarship in a subsequent year of study, subject to the fulfilment of the above selection criteria, with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.

Recipients of this Scholarship may accept other scholarships, bursaries or awards concurrently
About the Donor
This Scholarship is made possible by a gift from Mr Kwek Leng Beng, Executive Chairman of Hong Leong Group Singapore. Mr Kwek is also Executive Chairman of City Developments Limited (CDL) and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Limited, and Chairman and Managing Director of Hong Leong Finance Limited.
How To Apply
Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
