Lee Foundation Food Technology Scholarship
The Lee Foundation Food Technology Scholarship was established to nurture deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Pursuing the full-time Food Technology undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute
- Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Have achieved good academic results as the institute may in its sole discretion determine
Scholarship Benefits and Obligations
- Each Scholarship is valued at S$10,000 and is tenable for one (1) academic year.
- The Scholarship shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for study trips and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
- The recipients may accept other scholarships / bursaries / grants concurrently (including the Lee Foundation Bursary/ Emergency Grant but only in special circumstances).
- No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from the Lee Foundation, a charitable foundation founded in 1952 by philanthropist and business leader Tan Sri Dato Dr Lee Kong Chian for the advancement of education, healthcare and cultural activities, and other social causes.
How To Apply
Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
