Rotary Club of Tanglin & Tong Kok Chiang Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Tanglin & Tong Kok Chiang Scholarship was established to support deserving students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Applicable to students who are pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme in Nursing or Allied Health (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy).
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Have achieved outstanding academic results.
- Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a household Per Capita Income (PCI) of $1,000 or less.
Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship
- Each Scholarship, valued at $7,500, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
- The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for any overseas immersion programmes conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
- Recipients of this Scholarship may accept other scholarship(s) concurrently.
About the Donor
The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from the Rotary Club of Tanglin, and initiated through the leadership of the club’s past president, Mr Tong Kok Chiang. Rotary is a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
