Shu Yuran Charity Fund Scholarship
The Shu Yuran Charity Fund Scholarship was established to support financially disadvantaged but deserving undergraduates pursuing any of the full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria

Are pursuing any of the full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Institute;

Are Singapore Citizens;
-
Have achieved a minimum GPA grade of 3.5;

Demonstrated leadership qualities; and
-
Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community as determined by the Institute in its sole discretion.
Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship

Each scholarship is valued at S$10,000 and is applicable for one academic year.

The Scholarship shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for any overseas immersion programmes conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

Recipients who have already been awarded the Scholarship for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Scholarship in a subsequent year of study, subject to the fulfilment of the above selection criteria, and with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.

The recipients may not accept other scholarships but may accept other bursaries, grants or awards concurrently.

The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from Shu Yuran Charity Fund c/o The Community Foundation of Singapore.
How To Apply
Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
