Bureau Veritas Marine Singapore Outstanding Student Award in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
The Bureau Veritas Marine Singapore Outstanding Student Award in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering is established at SIT to encourage and recognise academic excellence among students pursuing the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering degree programme.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
The candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduating student from the full-time Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering degree programme at SIT
- Achieved outstanding academic results
- Demonstrated outstanding teamwork among peers
- Demonstrated great communication qualities
- The award will be shared equally in the event more than one student achieves the highest aggregate score

About the Donor
This award has been made possible with a gift from Bureau Veritas Marine Singapore Pte Ltd. They are a prominent classification society (class survey of ships and industrial inspection of naval and non-naval materials). Established in 1973, the company has grown from a small team of marine surveyors to a diverse workforce.
