Milestones, Roles and Responsibilities of Learners 

Learners’ progress will be formally monitored at three points, known as milestones. The defined milestones are Milestone 1 (Early Candidature), Milestone 2 (Mid-Candidature) and Milestone 3 (Thesis Examination).

The Roles and Responsibilities of the Learner are to: 

• Discuss with the Faculty Supervisor on the modules to be enrolled and indicate on a Study Plan form;
• Work with Programme Administrator to enrol modules;
• Seek feedback on academic progress with the faculty and industry supervisors on a trimester basis’;
• Prepare for Thesis Committee (TC) Academic Progress Meeting every trimester to discuss research project matters.
