The Dr Lee Su Ann Book Prize in Sonography is made possible by Dr Lee Su Ann to encourage radiography students to spark their interest in sonography and subsequently go on to become excellent sonographers. Dr Lee Su Ann trained as a radiologist in Singapore and started her career in a restructured hospital before moving on to private practice. She has been in clinical practice for more than 10 years and finds her work akin to a medical detective meaningful.

The Lin Shumei Book Prize in Clinical Practice Education is made possible by Dr Lin Shumei, who wishes to encourage the pursuit of excellence in clinical practice among Occupational Therapy students. Dr Lin Shumei grew up from a humble family and started working during her holidays since secondary one. Education was made possible through many bursaries and scholarships. She suffered from ill health as a child and was in and out of hospitals frequently, and that triggered her interest in healthcare. 
 
Dr Lin began her career as an occupational therapist in the hospital setting and later moved on to pursuing different areas such as education, research and leadership, while practicing clinical work. She believes in working hard and demonstrating the spirit of tenacity while placing faith in God. Instead of being grade-focused, she advocates for a holistic education where occupational therapy students can demonstrate the heart to serve, the humility to accept feedback and keep learning, and the drive to improve clinical practice.

The Meiban Global Book Prize in Occupational Therapy and Chronic Disease Management with Older Adults is made possible with a gift by Meiban Group, an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) provider with capabilities ranging from design and development, in-house mold making, plastic injection molding, PCB production and assembly to full product assembly. Meiban has more than 30 years of experience as one of Singapore’s top contract manufacturers based in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

The Mitsubishi Electric Asia Book Prize in Mechanical Design is made possible by Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte Ltd.
